Obituary
Pauline E. Halter, 88, of Malvern, passed away Monday, November 28th, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center, following a brief illness.
Pauline was born in Canton, OH on April 29, 1923, the daughter of the late William and Irene (Rainey) Ebner.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and the Catholic Women's Club. She retired from Brown Local Schools as cafeteria cook, and worked as a hostess at McDonald's in Minerva. She was an avid Malvern Hornet and Marietta College Basketball Fan.
Pauline is survived by two sons James (Cheryl) Halter of Malvern., William (Sue) Halter of Kent; grandchildren Michael (Kim) Halter of Kent, Kristen (Mark) Becknell of Cincinnati, Alyssa Halter of Malvern, Trevor Halter of Malvern.
She was preceded in death by a brother John Ebner.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Malvern, at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 1st, with Celebrant Fr. Victor Cinson. Calling hours will be held Wednesday 5 - 8 p.m.. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. A Vigil Prayer service will be held at 7:45 p.m.. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
