Obituary
Pearl Lydia Dunbar, 83, of Kent, passed away on Saturday, October 26th, 2013 at Robinson Memorial Hospital, following a short illness.
Pearl was born in Uhrichsville, OH on June 29, 1930, a daughter of the late William and Grace (Brown) Brown.
She was a member of Christian Life Center in Minerva where she was active in the Church Ladies Auxiliary
Pearl was a dispatcher for the Minerva Police Department for many years.
Pearl is survived by a son, Chester Dunbar, Jr.; three grandchildren, Chester Dunbar, III and William Dunbar of Clearwater, FL and Lydia Dunbar; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Kandel, of Minerva; Pauline Huff, of Tucson, AZ; and a brother, Russell Brown, of Minerva.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Dunbar, brothers William and Vernon Brown, and sister Charlotte Hobson.
Funeral Services will be held in the Bartley Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 30th, 2013. Calling hours will be held Tuesday 6 - 8 pm. at Bartley Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
