Ray Richard Dennis,Jr., 60, went home to glory Saturday, May 21st, 2016 at Aultman Hospital.

Ray was born in Canton, OH on June 12, 1955, a son of the late Raymond R. Dennis, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Cooper) Dennis.

Ray was an avid motorcyclist and Steeler's Fan who loved fishing and hunting. He made his living working at Freshmark and Smith Evergreens in Canton. He was a member of Mt. Zion Church of God in Minerva.

Ray is survived by his wife, Connie (Patrick) Dennis; a daughter, Heather (Roberto) Valdez Dennis, of Canton; three sons Ray (Renee) Dennis III, of Canton, Michael, (Doralee) Dennis, of Canton, Jeremiah, (Suzan Dennis) of Woodsfield; grandchildren Ray Dennis IV, Daymi Dennis, Stephanie Newman, April Villard, Greg Villard, Ryan Villard, Caitlyn Dennis, George Jones, Rosie Jones, Jeorgia Jones, Chad Dennis, Jr., Mercades Dennis, Star Dennis, Noah Dennis, Jeremiah Dennis, II, Jennifer Dennis, Suzie Dennis, Lemeul Dennis, Michael Dennis, Jr., Evan Pryor, Landrea and Gideon Dennis; two sisters, Mary (William) Rohrer, of North Canton; Sharon Ashbey and family of North Carolina; three brothers, Eugene (Pamela) Dennis, of Malvern; Joe (Tammy) Dennis, of Minerva; Paul (Linda Burnworth) Dennis, of Canton.

He is preceded in death by sons Chad Dennis, Lemuel Dennis

Ray will be missed by many nieces, nephews, brothers and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Zion Church of God, 13353 Lincoln St. SE, Minerva, at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26th, 2016 with Pastor Leamon Whitehead officiating. Calling hours will be Wednesday 6 - 8 p.m.. at Mt. Zion Church of God. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, Canton.
