Obituary
Richard A. Byrd, Jr., 52, of Malvern, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 6th, 2016 in Aultman Hospital.
Richard was born in Elgin, IL on September 9, 1964, a son of Nancy (Flory) Humphreys and Richard A Byrd, Sr. of Malvern.
He was a Tow Motor Operator at FPT, Canton
Richard is survived by his wife of 24 years, Melissa (Eakin) Byrd; a daughter, Mariah K Byrd, of Waynesburg; a son, Alec T Byrd, of Malvern; grandchildren Brooklyn Byrd, Lacey, Bella and Hunter Allen, grandmother Ruby Flory of Canton; two sisters, Terri Elton, of Minerva; Bonnie Wilkes, of Carrollton and a brother, Randy Byrd, of Carrollton;
He is preceded in death by a sister-in-law Vicki Payne and grandpa Flory.
His wishes were to be cremated. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
