Robert W. Coyle
Mr. Robert W. Coyle, 96, of Malvern passed away May 1, 2015 at Carroll Healthcare Center. He was born February 20, 1919 in Bentleyville PA.
Bob was a member of the Malvern Christian Church. He proudly served in WWII in the U.S. Army Air Force stationed in England as a plane mechanic. He worked as a well driller, a painter, and a TV antenna installer and retired from the Timken Company. He coached little league baseball during the 50 and 60's. Bob was an avid card player, golfer, and hunter. He enjoyed crossword and jig saw puzzles and most of all his grandchildren.
He is survived by a daughter, Karen Brumbaugh, of Carrollton, a son, James (Gayle) Coyle of Lebanon IN, son-in-law Norman Fox of Malvern, a sister, Judy Cropper of Florida, grandchildren: Jeremy Fox, Duke (Ashley) Fox, Kate (Donnie) Burns, A.J. Fox, Rob (Rachel) Coyle, Jordan (Ashley) Coyle, great-grandchildren: Claire and Cameron Fox, Jared Coyle, Arabella Burns, Ashley Brumbaugh, and Dustyn Chamberlain, plus many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Grace, his beloved daughter, JoAnne Fox, brothers, Tom, Burt, and John, and sisters Cleo, Frannie, Lois, Jean, and Ella Mae.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home in Malvern from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. Services will immediately follow with Rev. Jim Coyle offciating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Malvern Christian Care Center and American Legion Post 375.
