Obituary
Roberta Louise Monk, 83, of Minerva, passed away, Monday, July 21st, 2014 in her home surrounded by family.
Roberta was born in Canton, OH on July 5, 1931, a daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Grall) Stephens.
She worked as an assembler at PCC for 35 years retiring in 1998.
She was an avid bowler and enjoyed reading, walking, gardening and watching birds.
Roberta is survived by a sister, Linda (Brent) Cowden, of Minerva; two brothers, Marvin Stephens, of North Carolina. Thomas (Gwen) Stephens, of Newport News, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Edwin, Robert, Delbert "Tiny" and Phillip Stephens.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bartley Funeral Home, at 11:00 am on Friday, July 25th, 2014 with Pastor Chet Howes officiating. Calling hours will be Friday 10 - 11 am. at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
