Ruby Louise White, 88, of Minerva, passed away, Saturday, February 27th, 2016 at the Arbors at Minerva.
Ruby was born in Alma, GA on April 3, 1927, a daughter of the late Hope and Zelma Louise (Hutchison) Elkin.
She was the owner of the Coffee Shop in Crescent City, Florida.
She is preceded in death by sons Stanley Williams and Edgar Miles, a daughter Ethel Watts and a brother Dwayne Taylor.
She is survived by granddaughters Ruby Marie (Kerry) Hartshorn of Minerva, Bobbie Leigh Miles of DeLand, Florida, Tina Freed of DeLand, Florida, Jeanna Vecchiano Ahmann of Glenwood, Florida, grandson, Buddy Vecchiano of DeLand, Florida and great-grandson Devin Hartshorn of Minerva.
Ruby's family would like to thank the Arbors at Minerva, Crossroads Hospice and the Minerva United Methodist Church for their love and kindness during her illness."
Her wishes were to be cremated. There are no services.
