Obituary
Russell William Myers, 68, of Kensington, OH, passed away Sunday, July 9th, 2017 in his home.
Russell was born in Canton, OH on July 25, 1948, a son of the late Walter Ray and Mae Marie (Uhrich) Myers.
He loved riding his motorcycle. Throughout his lifetime, Russell rode over 300,000 miles. He rode through all the States in the USA, except for Hawaii. He also rode through the British Isles, most of Europe, most of Mexico, and most of Canada. He belonged to the Over 40 motorcycle clubs, the Wilderness Center, and the Lighter Than Air Group of Akron.
Russell was never married. He is survived by his two brothers, Theodore R Myers of Kensington and Stephen (Patricia) Myers of Reyholdsburg. He is also survived by his Uncle Richard Uhrich, his nephew, David (Sara) Myers of Long Beach, CA, niece, Suzanne Myers of Reynoldsburg, great nephew, Timothy Myers and great niece, Lilliana Best.
A memorial service will be held at Bartley Funeral Home at Noon on Thursday, July 13th, 2017, with Celebrant Kevin O'Obrien officiating. Calling Hours will precede the service from 10 AM to Noon.
