Ruth Anne Pilati, 85, of Minerva. passed away Wednesday, February 8th, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her loving family following a long illness.

Ruth was born in New Waterford, OH on October 26, 1926, the daughter of the late Harry and Sara (McCune) Bricker.

She was a graduate of East Palestine High .School. and the Youngstown Hospital Association School of Nursing

She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister, the Catholic Women's Club, Minerva Nurses Association, Sans Souci, and Minerva Community Meals.

She was a homemaker and spent her life as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother

Ruth is survived by her husband of 64 years William Eugene Pilati; five sons James (Linda) Pilati of Melber, Kentucky, William (Nori) Pilati of Vienna, OH, Richard (Cathy) Pilati of East Rochester, OH, John (Cindy) Pilati of Minerva, OH, David (Diane) Pilati of North Canton, OH; eleven grandchildren, Merry Ellen, Dylan, Nick, Kristen, Kelsey, Jesse, Louis, Karen, Leah, Siena, and Alec, four great grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter; a brother, Robert (Margaret) Bricker of Venice, Florida.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Samuel and Richard Bricker, a sister Mary Switalski, and a great-grandson, Andrew Harris.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Minerva, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11th, 2012 with Celebrant Fr. Victor Cinson.

Calling hours will be held Friday 5 - 8 p.m. and Saturday one hour before services at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. There will be a Wake Service at 7:45 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
