Ruth Ann VanMeter, age 92 of Minerva, passed away at Aultman Woodlawn on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Ruth was born in Pattersonville, Ohio on April 19, 1930 to Frank and Mary Frances (McConnell) Mills.

Ruth was a farm wife and loved to garden and play cards.

Ruth is survived by two daughters, Connie (Walt) Johnson of Minerva and Amy (Tim) White of Lexington KY; two sons: Larry (Anna) VanMeter of Minerva and Robert VanMeter of Minerva; seven grandchildren: Stacey, Leann (Craig), Travis, Amanda (Steve), Lori (Josh), Rod, and Addie; seven great-grandchildren: Lydia, Claire, Lyla, Cate, Owen, Noah, and Anson; a sister, Phyllis (Paul) Knoebel of Barberton; a brother, Richard Mills of Wooster; a brother-in-law, Fred Wilson of Malvern; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Mills of Minerva.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Paul VanMeter; two sisters: Carrie Wilson and June Gascon; and three brothers: Charles Mills, Ross Mills, and John Mills.

Per her request, there will be no services.
