Samuel P. Weston, 70, of Carrollton, passed away at 1211, Wednesday, November 20th, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center.
Samuel was born in Canton, OH on June 22, 1943, a son of the late Ernest and Leah Marie (Benz) Weston.
After high school he joined the Navy and later was appointed Chaplain for the Carroll County Jail
Samuel was a jack of all trades working in farming, as a mechanic, heavy machine operator, security guard and in landscaping.
Samuel is survived by a daughter, DeeDee Lynn Garaux, of Waynesburg; two sons Samuel J (Shirley) Weston, of Malvern; Adam L (Carol) Weston, of Carrollton; Kolton A. Garaux, Austin M. Garaux, Samantha K. Weston, Amanda M. Weston, Andrew J Weston; three sisters, Sally E. Peloso, of Alliance; Shirley K. Bradley, of Carrollton; Carolina F. Rosenberger, of Portland, OR.; two brothers, Ronald L. Weston, of Lewiston, ID; Earnest A. Weston, of Minerva; and seventeen nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Sandra Kay (Knight) Weston in 1989 and a grandchild Monica Garaux.
Funeral Services will be held at the Christian Life Center, Minerva, at 11:00 am on Monday, November 25th, 2013 with Pastor Tim Gropp officiating. Calling hours will be held Sunday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. at the Bartley Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
