Sharon Marie Lewis

Sharon Marie Lewis, age 89 of Minerva , passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. Sharon was born on August 12, 1937 to David P. and Helen B. Mason. She spent her childhood in Hyndman, Pennsylvania.

Sharon left behind a legacy of love and dedication that touched the hearts of all who knew her. For 48 years, Sharon and her husband owned and operated Oscar's Furniture Store, a beloved local institution that she nurtured with care and commitment.

Sharon was a member of the Sans Souci club. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Minerva. She will be fondly remembered for her kindness by those fortunate enough to have known her. Her warm smile and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Sharon is survived by three daughters: Tina Lewis of Carrollton, Beth (Milton) Awa of Chagrin Falls, and Michele Fritz of Minerva; grandchildren: Oscar (Sarah) Awa of Wickliffe, Vance (Marcie) Awa of Lakewood, Zachary (Allison) Fritz of Kinston, NC, and Maggie (Mitch) Ray of Canton; great-grandchildren: Luke, Brady, Addison, Blair, Darcy, and Heath; and a sister-in-law, Joni Mason of Montana.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Lewis; and a brother, David Mason Jr.

Following cremation, graveside services will be held at East Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 12 pm with Pastor David Haught officiating.
