Sharon Patricia Marie Elana VanFossen, age 53 of Carrollton, passed away at her home on Sunday, April 18, 2021.  Sharon was born in Alliance, Ohio on June 1, 1967 to Leonard Bates Sr. and Leona M. (Sallade) Gray.

Sharon loved animals and enjoyed music.

Sharon is survived by her father, Leonard Bates Sr of Alliance; her mother, Leona Gray of Carrollton; her step-father, Richard Gray; two brothers:  Lawrence (Beth) Bates of Minerva and Leonard Bates Jr of Carrollton; two half-brothers:  Brandon (Amanda) Bates of Alliance and Coty Bates of Alliance; a half-sister, Lynn Ann Wilson of Beloit; her fiancé, Jeffery Dews of East Canton; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.

There will be no services.
