Shelly Lynn Walter, age 64, of Dover, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 after a period of declining health. She was born in Canton Ohio on March 21, 1959 to Donald and Mary Lee (Meyer) Lawther.

She loved to be outside, listening to music, and spending time with her dogs, Ruger, Mauser, and Riggs.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Tim; her children, Shonna (Jerod) Roth, Marisa (Aaron) Hopkins, Dan (Carina) Holdsworth; four stepdaughters: Becky (John) Bargar, Debbie (Will) Suddeth, Samantha (Scott) Callen, and Jennifer (Jack) Carling. She also leaves behind her brothers Larry and Greg Lawther; and twenty-two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, and several fur babies.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services. A small family gathering will be held at a later date to spread her ashes on the family farm.
