Shirley Dolores Tolley, age 89 of East Canton, passed away at on Monday, August 5, 2024 at her residence. Shirley was born in Akron, Ohio on March 3, 1935 to Anthony Joseph and Lula Mae (Stout) Yacklin.

As a devoted homemaker, Shirley spent her days nurturing her home and family, ensuring that love and care were ever-present. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also had a passion for growing roses, which brought beauty and tranquility to her surroundings.

Her memory lives on through her loving family: sons, John, Michael L., and Michael J., all of Louisville; daughter, Mary Tolley of Louisville; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Shirley's legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Tolley; two sons: Earl and Paul; one grandchild; and all of her siblings.

Funeral service will be held at Bartley Funeral Home, 205 West Lincoln Way, Minerva, Ohio, on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bartley Funeral Home.
