Obituary

Stanley Talbot Kiehl, age 82 of Malvern, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Oakhill Manor Care Center in Louisville. Stanley was born in Canton, Ohio on July 21, 1935, the son of the late John 'Everett' and Lula 'Peg' Kiehl.

He was a member and past president of the Ohio Archers Association, where he honed his skills to become a Guinness Book of World Records holder for the longest time shot and most points scored in a Portsmith round. He was a Navy veteran, who served in the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post #375. He retired from Sugardale as a meat cutter in the Hotel and Restaurant Department after 30+ years of service. He enjoyed fishing, shooting sporting clays, and spending time with his family.

Stanley is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margaret Cecila Gross) Kiehl; three sons, John 'Scott' of Carrollton, Michael (Krista) of Delaware, and Christopher (Missy) of Malvern; grandchildren, Meghan Meinert (Rouven Mull), Taylor (Emma Parker) Kiehl, Brenen (Alexis) Green, Morgan Kiehl, Dakota Kiehl, Ryan Kiehl, Aaliya Geiser, and Cooper Kiehl; and a sister, Carolyn Kortkamp.

Graveside services will be held at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, 7920 Frank Avenue NW, North Canton, Ohio, on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 10 AM.
