"MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE?!"

T. Daniel Donnelly has breathed his last breath. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on August 31st, 2025. In the weeks prior, a parade of friends and family visited to share their admiration, stories, and laughter. He was big, loud, boisterous, bull-headed, and so full of life and love for all of us. He taught us how to live fully and deeply. And he cared for everyone he knew, no exceptions. If you needed help, he started by giving you the shirt off his back, then he asked what else he could do. Actually, most times he didn't ask, he just did. He was a force of nature with his laughter, his music, his love of adventure, his passion for diversity, his intolerance of injustice, and most of all, his love of family. He touched us all in so many ways that he will never truly be gone. He remains in our hearts, in the ways that we continue to live, in the ways that he never gave up on anyone who was struggling, and in his stories. So many stories!
And so we pause for a moment to honor a life well lived, to remember a man we can never forget, and to mourn the loss of his great, big, all-encompassing hugs.

Dan/Dad/Poppy is survived by his wife, Laura Donnelly; his sons Tim (Lindsey) and Todd (Sarah) Donnelly; a step-son Amery (Mary Jane Ward) Kessler; six grandchildren: Savanah, Tyler, Taegan, Drayden, Turner, and Case; three sisters: Kathy (Bill) Butler, Susie (Rick) Scheiring, and Becci (Keith) Russell; a brother, Dave (Renee) Vutetakis; and a brother-in-law, Dave Taylor.

Per his explicit request, there will be no services.
