Thelma Girton, 93, of Malvern, passed away Tuesday, July 26th, 2011 at Alliance Community Hospital.
Thelma was born in London, KY on September 30, 1917, the daughter of the late Green and Pearl Jane (Jones) Pennix.
She was a kind, good-hearted and loving mother. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness
Thelma is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Browning of Malvern, Joan (Joe) Gonzolaz of Louisville, OH; a son, Daniel Blake; 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Jean Yoho of New Martinsville, WV, and a brother, Burton Mills of Athens, Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Girton in 2000, sons Leroy Blake & William Blake, daughter Janice Blake, brothers Grover Pennix, Estel Pennix, Charles Mills.
Funeral Services will be held at Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 29th, 2011. Calling hours will be held Friday one hour before services. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
