Thelma Jane Reed, 85 passed away at 11:25pm at Aultman Hospital on April 20, 2012

Thelma was born and raised in Malvern Ohio and returned there after living in Canton Ohio for over 35 years.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Fred and Eva (Logan) Reed, Brothers, Carl and Clarence (Bud) Reed, Sisters, Margaret Ellen Reed, Blanche Motts and niece Kay Ellen Volcansek.
She is survived by a brother Alvin Reed of Malvern and nephews; Charlie (Debbie) Reed, Mark (Leslie) Reed, Dave (Sue) Motts, and nieces; Pat Reed and Sonia Strock. She is also lovingly remembered by her great and great great nieces and nephews.

She worked as a private secretary at Malvern Brick Plant, Good Roads Machinery and retired from the Columbus Equipment Company in Richfield Ohio. She was an active member of the New Life Christian Church of Waynesburg Ohio and while living in Canton at the Canton First Christian Church. Thelma loved her family and friends, to laugh and joke and to play cards and bingo at the Minerva Senior Center. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 23, 2012 at New Life Christian Church at 11:00, conducted by Reverend Pete Hall. Donations may be made in her memory to New Life Christian Church, 139 Roosevelt Street, PO Box 714, Waynesburg, OH 44688.
