Virginia Mary Catherine (Casper) Ebner Greeneisen
Virginia Mary Catherine Greeneisen, 89, of Malvern, passed away, Thursday, December 6th,2012 at Aultman Hospital following a short illness.
Virginia was born in Morges, Ohio on August 27, 1923, a daughter of the late Alice (Waggoner) and Flavius Casper. She was a Malvern resident for most of her life. She enjoyed spending the winter months at her home in North Fort Myers, FL.
Virginia worked as a bookkeeper for Consumers National Bank
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Malvern, where she was active in the Women's Club. She enjoyed having lunches at the Malvern Nutrition Site at St. Martin Lutheran Church and playing cards and eating dinner on Friday nights at the Minerva Senior Center.
Virginia was the loving mother of Pat (Jan) Wackerly, of Malvern, Dennis (Jeanne) Ebner, of Euclid, mother-in-law of Frances Ebner of Green, stepmother of Paula Reiter of Columbus and Diane Keller of Plymouth, MA; grandmother of Phillip (Susan) Ebner, Tricia Baggott, Scott (Christina) Bucher, Michael (Ashlee) Wackerly, Patrick (Jesse) Ebner, Katie (Justin) Ball and Julie Ebner; step-grandmother of Gregory (Alicia) Keller, Christopher (Christina) Keller and Robin (Chad) Elliott, David Reiter and Erin (Matt) Brown; great-grandmother of sixteen, sister of Jean Schuck of Magnolia and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Ebner, second husband Willis Greeneisen; son, Ronald Ebner; siblings, George, Robert, Vernon, Ralph and Donald Casper.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Malvern, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 10th, 2012 with Celebrant Fr. Vic Cinson.
Calling hours will be held Sunday 2 - 6 p.m. and Monday one hour before Mass at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. A wake service will be held at 5:45 p.m. Sunday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
