Virgil Thomas "Nick" Nichols
Virgil Thomas "Nick" Nichols, 86, of Wickliff, passed away Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015 in his home.
Nick was born in Belmont, Ohio on March 19, 1928, a son of the late Harry and Goldie (Showwalter) Nichols.
He was a member of Malvern United Methodist Church in Malvern and attended Shoregate United Methodist Church in Wickliff.
He worked at Republic Steel for 40 years.
Nick is survived by two daughters, Carla K Bumgarner, of Willowick; Debbie Ellen (Dwight) Kelley, of Canton, GA; two sons Rodney (Carolyn) Nichols, of Canton; Roger (Rose) Nichols, of Minerva; four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and two half sisters, Edna and Margaret.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Doris Ellen (Miller), second wife Helen (Angelos) and a brother Clarence Nichols.
Funeral services will be held in the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, Malvern at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 7th, 2015 with Rev. Allen Hill officiating. Calling hours will be Friday 6 - 8 p.m. at the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mapleton Cemetery.
