Walter Vincent Mobley

Walter Vincent Mobley, age 88 of Kensington, passed away at Altercare of Alliance on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Walter was born in Kensington, Ohio on September 18, 1931 a son of the late Cogle John and Beda Kathron (Dickey) Mobley.

Walter worked as a millwright for American Steel for over 40 years. He was a Korean War Veteran. In his younger years, Walter enjoyed skiing, ballroom dancing, and gardening.

Walter is survived by his wife of 63 years, Donna Lee Mobley; daughter, Sandy Lee of Canton; son, Paul (Sheila) Mobley of Beloit, sister; Gertrude Roberts of Dansville, MI; granddaughter, Shannon Marie (Kyle) Egnot of Louisville, and grandson, Nathan Alan Lee of Canton.

In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by a sister, Maxine Grace Mobley.

Funeral services will be held at Bartley Funeral Home, 205 West Lincoln Way, Minerva, Ohio, on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ed Barnes officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park with full military honors. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bartley Funeral Home.
