Walter Howard Woodrum
Walter Woodrum, 96, of Placentia California, died Saturday morning December 29, 2012 at Haven of Joy following a long illness with Alzheimer's and Melanoma cancer. He was born in Portsmouth Ohio May 19, 1916. He was one of 10 siblings of the late Gilbert and Ella (Montgomery) Woodrum. He retired from Northup (Grumman) Aircraft in 1975. He worked on the assembly line as a Punch Press Operator.
He is survived by his daughter JoDeane Pulver, Norco CA, son Larry Woodrum, Florida, grandson Ryan Pulver, Norco CA, and granddaughter Stacie Stallings with Great Grandson Atreyu Stallings of Texas, also his sister Dane Willis and brother Raymond Woodrum.
He will be laid to rest with his wife of 45 years Gladys Marjorie Woodrum in Minerva Ohio, graveside services will be held at East Lawn Cemetery at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2013 with Rev. Ben George officiating..
