Obituary for William Carl Hall

William Carl Hall, age 89 of Malvern, passed away at Aultman Hospital on Wednesday, June 26, 2019. William was born in Roane County, West Virginia on January 16, 1930 to Carl and Lucy Ellen (Salisbury) Hall-Tawney.

William is survived by three sons: Greg Lynn (Tammy) Hall of Minerva, Larry Gale (Melinda) Hall of Rotonda West, FL, and Carl Lee (Deborah) Hall of Hurt Virginia; step-daughter, Cathy Johnson of Kensington; grandchildren: Darin Hall, Derek Hall, Matthew Hall, Brett Hall, Chandlor Phillips, Jacob Hall, Ryan Hall, Ashley Kirkland, and Catelynn Johnson; numerous great-grandchildren; half-brothers: Monte Hall of West Virginia, Bobby Hall of West Virginia, half-sister, Donna Twiggs of Georgia; special cousin, Mary Lou Rash of West Virginia; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Floyd and Virginia Stryffeler of East Canton.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Mae (Fox) Hall; a son, Lyle Hall; a brother, Gale Hall; and a grandson, Gregg Hall.

Graveside service will be held at Baxter Ridge Cemetery, 4006 Jade Road NW, Carrollton, Ohio, on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2:30 PM with Brother Robert Ackerman officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bartley Funeral Home, 205 West Lincoln Way, Minerva OH.
