William E. Park, 74, of Minerva, passed away, Thursday, February 2nd, 2017 at Community Care Center in Alliance.
Bill was born in Martins Ferry, OH on December 21, 1942, a son of the late Raymond L. and Alma Loradean (Bland) Park.
He attended First Baptist Church of Alliance, and had served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
He was a truck driver for many firms including Belknap, Green Lines, Longbar and Big Dawg's. He was a supervisor at Alpha Enterprises in Canton.
Bill is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joyce A. (Hamilton) Park; two daughters, Tami J. (Michael) Angel, and their children Adam, Blake, Savanah Angel of Alliance; Terri L. Green, her children Zachery (Brittany Fornash) Hidey, Victoria Hidey, and Curtis and Bryce Green and grandchildren Jayse Fornash, Ryker Allen Hidey of Paris; a son, Troy E. Park, of Kodiak, AK, his children Bailey (Gary Bagley) Park, Evan (Katie Swiger) Park, Troy Christian, Thor Park, and granddaughter, Scarlette Bagley.
Bill is also survived by a brother, James L. Park, of Minerva.
He is preceded in death by a sister Loradean Goehringer.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Alliance, 1659 W State St, Alliance, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7th, 2017, with Rev. Steve Rhodes officiating.
Calling Hours will be Monday, February 6, 2017, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at the Bartley Funeral Home in Minerva. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
