William Oscar Taylor
William Oscar Taylor, 79, of Malvern, passed away Saturday, February 21st, 2015 in his home following a battle with lung cancer.
Bill was born in Woodland, WV on December 29, 1935, a son of the late Oscar and Alice (Henry) Taylor.
He served in the U. S. Army and worked as a meat processor at Sugardale.
Bill is survived by his wife of 32 years, Judy (Bennett) Taylor; two daughters, Debra Roudebush, of Minerva; Patti Kennedy, of Malvern; a son, William D, husband of Kim Taylor, of Minerva; a step-daughter, Marissa, wife of Tom Heidt, of Pittsburg, CA; three step-sons Butch Barrick, of Minerva; Jeff Barrick, of Minerva; Bryan, husband of Missy Barrick, of Carrollton; fourteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters.
He is preceded in death by a daughter Tammy Taylor, two sisters and one brother,
Funeral services will be held at Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24th, 2015 with Rev. Dave Chambers officiating. Calling hours will be Tuesday 1 - 3 p.m. at Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
