IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William O.
Workman
June 12, 1960 – January 22, 2024
William O Workman Jr., (63), of Minerva, Ohio, lost his battle to lung cancer on January 22, 2024, in his home, surrounded by his family.
William, fondly known as Bill, was born in Canton, Ohio on June 12, 1960, to William O. Sr. and Bertha (Heinzman) Workman. He attended Canton South High School where he lettered in wrestling.
Bill currently worked for 3D Partners but had many jobs throughout his lifetime. He was one of the best sandblasters/painters of heavy construction equipment around and at one time owned his own business working side by side with his wife. His jobs allowed him to travel all over the US where he and his family got to experience amazing places. He loved fishing, traveling, camping, BBQs, and football. Go Cleveland Browns!
Anyone who knew Bill thought he was the nicest guy they ever met. He was the type of guy who would help anyone and would go out of his way to do so. His wife and daughters adored and loved him deeply and will miss his silly "Dad" jokes. Being a Pappy to his adorable granddaughter was his greatest joy.
In his personal life, Bill was a devoted family man. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 40 years, Beverly (Fishel) Workman of Minerva; two daughters, Carrie Workman of Minerva and Penny (Josh) Eshelman of Alliance; and a granddaughter, Mavis Eshelman. He is also survived by his brother, David Workman of Canton; a sister Sandy (Greg) Ray of Carrollton; and a half-sister, Shirley (Carl) West of Eppy, NH. Bill will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will be forever held in the hearts of his loved ones.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his half-sister, Betty McGlaughin.
As per his wishes, there will be no services.
